  • AI doesn’t stop you from taking longer rests or cutting reps, whereas a human PT would notice and correct you.

  • No one stopping you doing that 30 second linger around the Gym crush which is actually a 5 minute creepy stare.
  • Without someone watching, it’s easy to train slightly lighter or not push as hard—something I hadn’t realised I relied on human observation to correct.

  • AI doesn’t judge your little quirks in the gym. For example, I wandered off to check my phone between sets—my PT would definitely have noticed and called me out!

  • The workouts were excellent, but the humour of training with a PT ws just not there. No AI will ever deliver Ronnie Coleman’s shouty “LIGHT WORK BABY!” while encouraging you to push through your last set.
